When you’re just getting in to styling your hair, it can be difficult to find super easy hairstyles for beginners. A lot of them are beyond the level of someone who has never styled before.
For some easier options, watch these tutorials below. They include plenty of great styles and hacks. There’s also tutorials for anyone who wants to try some more advanced techniques, after mastering the simpler ones.
1 Minute Styles
These styles are extremely simple, and they look really good as well. The title of the video says that the styles should only take 1 minute, and I don’t think that’s a reach.
There are one or two techniques that she doesn’t explain, but overall, it’s a good tutorial. She also goes into a lot of detail about how you can change up the styles, so you’re getting more than just the few styles she put in the video.
Quick Styles For Natural Hair
These styles are perfect for anyone who really has no idea where to begin. These poofs and buns a great entry point into trying out different styles.
She doesn’t really go into detail about how she’s making each style, but they’re simple enough that you can figure them out. Plus, the video is fairly detailed, so watching it a few times will help.
Overall, there are a lot of great options for people who really can’t style their hair.
Heads up, this tutorial is in a different language. Thankfully, it has excellent subtitles, so don’t worry about the language barrier. It can be difficult to watch the styling and read the subs at the same time though, so just be ready to pause the video as needed.
This video has some more advanced styles. As such, I would recommend it for someone who is ready to increase their skill level. Some of the techniques are not explained in detail, but the subs and the filming provide a clear picture of what they’re doing. It sets up you up well to practice these styles.
I also like that they have a lot of different looks. Some of them are really unique, so definitely check out this video.
There aren’t a lot styles in this video, but the hacks are perfect for styling newbies.
She also goes into some ways to change up the usual styles like braids, ponytails, buns, and pigtails. It’s great for anyone needs inspiration for some ways to shake up their usual routine.
My only complaint is that she doesn’t name the specific tools that she uses, but they’re not hard to find with a quick search.
Practice Makes Perfect
If you’re trying out these styles and finding it difficult, don’t be discouraged! With styling, as with everything else, practice makes perfect. As you put in time and work, you’ll see improvement. And if you can stick with it, you’ll become a great at-home stylist.
